Kelly Michelle Stables grew up in the city of St. Louis, Missouri. She performed in The Muny Opera. The University of Missouri Columbia conferred her with an undergraduate degree in Theater and Communications. After moving to Los Angeles Kelly quickly became active in stage, choreographing and acting in over two dozen shows. This included The Little Foxes Brady Bunch The Musical Peter Pan in Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera. In addition to continuing her studies in Improvisation with The Groundlings and becoming a Company member of Theatre West Kelly also started getting roles for television and in film. Her distinctive voice and small height has let her perform a range of colorful characters. The actress is well known for her role as a co-star with Naomi Watts taking over the character of evil Samara in The Ring 2 but is popularly known for the glamorous bright receptionist on Two and a Half Men. Kelly was a character on the main character on TV Land's The Exes, where she played an ex-party-goer and a paralegal throughout the day. Kelly was also on the show in the role of Alyssa's smart, sassy sister on ABC's Romantically Challenged and as the worried suburban mom on the CW series No Tomorrow. She has lent her soprano singing voice to a variety of cartoons such as Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry and Sofia the First. She was most recently seen in NBC's smash comedy Superstore as the dim but adorable Cloud 9 worker. The private world of her life is quiet. She enjoys having time with her family, including two young children.
