Mary's career began after she graduated as a photojournalist in Architectural Digest, under the founding editor Paige Rense. Then in her late years, Mary found her own page called Mary Finds. Storage Wars was a part of her life for the following seasons, and she was in and out of the reality series up to the 12th season.
