Often referred as"the Junkyard Queen' or The Junkster' Mary is known for her collections of antiques that she gathered from estate sales, auctions and storage units. Mary started her career as a photographer with Architectural Digest under Paige Rense. Later, she launched the company's private Mary Finds category. She created videos for interior design and renovation. After that, she relocated to Texas and opened her own business with the same name. A&E Television producer spotted her working in an antique shop, and gave her the opportunity to be a part of Texas Storage Wars. This show lasted three seasons. Due to her popularity her appearance on the show, she was a part of the original Storage Wars' fifth season. She was a part of the subsequent seasons of the Storage Wars and has appeared intermittently in the reality series from season 5 to season 12 at present.
