Laura Linney

Laura Linney is an American actress who has become famous for her portrayal of vulnerable, but strong characters. Linney was born into the theatre-loving side of her family. Her father, Romulus Linney, was a writer. Linney studied at the Arts Theatre School at Moscow and then earned her M.F.A. from Juilliard School. New York City was her first destination in the year 1990. The actress began performing in Broadway immediately, eventually receiving praise for her performances on Six Degrees of Separation (Six Degrees of Separation) and Hedda Galer.
